Russia’s support of Minsk to compensate Western sanctions

MINSK, Jul 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s support of Belarus will fully compensate all possible consequences of the Western sanctions for Minsk, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko told reporters on Friday, the day after his meeting with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin.

“This is about the credit and financial support of the Belarusian financial system. This is about insurance of our deals. That is why we have no doubt that Russia will provide support on mutually beneficial conditions. It will completely compensate all the possible consequences expected by those who imposed the sanctions,” Golovchenko said.
